Bekalou

I entered the cosplay world at the end of 2007, and debuted my first costume at an event at the beginning of 2008. I have since enjoyed being a part of the cosplay community and growing in my skills.

All costumes in this portfolio are made and worn by me, and associated props are also handmade. My real love in cosplay is the creation of the costume: a character wears his or her specific clothing for a reason, and the clothing should have a story of its own that reflects who the character is. In this way, I spend time planning materials and details in order that the final costume might be what the character would truly wear, if they lived in our world.
